Guest Editors: David Alais and John Foxe
Deadline: February 1, 2008
Target publication date: August, 2008
Following the successful 8th annual meeting of the International Multisensory Research Forum (IMRF) in Sydney, Australia, we are soliciting papers for a special issue to be published in Brain Research on “Issues in Multisensory Integration”.
The special issue is open to any multisensory work in any discipline, including: electrophysiology, psychophysiology, animal behavior, human psychophysics, neurophysiology, cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, speech perception, brain imaging, computational modeling.
All submissions will be done electronically through the Brain Research on-line submission process. No hard copy submissions will be accepted. Prospective contributors are invited to contact the special issue editors to discuss the suitability of topics and papers. Submission is not limited to participants at IMRF 2007.
All submissions will be peer reviewed and should satisfy the usual standards of scholarship and originality. Previous experience from earlier special editions following IMRF meetings suggests competition for acceptance will be strong.
